TRUSTED BY HOMES & BUSINESSES ACROSS THE SFV

Overview

Sinks, tubs, toilets, mainlines. Cabling, hydrojet, camera. Same-day.

Slow drain today is a flood tomorrow. Older SFV homes in Sylmar, San Fernando, and Pacoima get hit with grease buildup, root intrusion, and clay pipe scale. No off-the-shelf drain cleaner is going to touch any of it. We cable the easy ones, hydrojet the bad ones, and camera the lines so you see what was actually wrong.

What Does It Cost?

Drain clearing pricing comes down to four things: where the clog is (sink branch vs. mainline), method needed (cable vs. hydrojet), access to the cleanout, and severity. We diagnose first, quote second. You hear the number before any tool comes off the truck.

Cabling vs. Hydrojetting

Cabling vs. hydrojetting. Cabling is a steel auger that punches a hole through the clog. Fast. Cheap. Works great on soft blockages and basic clogs. Hydrojetting is high-pressure water (3,500+ PSI) that scours the pipe wall clean. It gets the grease, scale, and roots that cabling just bores through. Rule of thumb: cable for residential one-off clogs. Hydrojet for restaurants, multi-unit, repeat clogs, or anything with grease or roots.

Scope of Work

What's In Every Clogged Drains Call

Every Drain In The House

Sinks, tubs, showers, toilets, and mainlines. One truck handles the whole list, no separate trips for branch lines and the main.

Cabling For Soft Clogs

Mechanical auger for standard residential lines and the everyday clogs you'd hire a plumber for. Fast, cheap, effective.

Hydrojetting For Tough Buildup

High-pressure water scours grease, mineral scale, and root intrusion that cabling can't break through. Standard for restaurants, multi-unit, and any line where cabling didn't last.

Camera-Verified Mainlines

We run a camera on every mainline job and you watch the footage with the tech. If the line has a structural issue, you see it on screen and we quote the fix on the spot.

30-Day Clear-Drain Guarantee

Same drain backs up inside 30 days, we come back at no charge. Keeps the work honest and gives you a real backstop on the job.

How It Works

Our Step-By-Step Process

  1. Step 1

    Locate Access

Tech walks the property and finds the right entry point. Exterior cleanout is first choice. If the home doesn't have one, we pull a toilet for mainline access or remove a P-trap under a sink for a branch line. 5 to 15 minutes depending on how the plumbing is laid out. You walk it with the tech and point out the symptoms (slow kitchen drain, gurgling tub when the washer drains, sewage in the laundry pan). Stay close for the first 60 seconds in case we need you to confirm anything, then you can step away. Tarps and floor protection go down before any tool comes off the truck.

  2. Step 2

    Diagnose The Clog

Before any cable or jet runs, the tech assesses what's blocking the line. Soft clog (hair, food waste, paper buildup) gets cabled. Grease, scale, or roots get hydrojetted. Recurring clogs at the same fixture often signal a sag or break, which means a camera goes down first. 5 to 10 minutes. You hear the diagnosis and the recommended method before we proceed. Nothing happens without your green light.

  3. Step 3

    Quote And Approve

Flat-rate number written down before the work starts. Cabling a single sink branch is one number. Hydrojetting a mainline is another. The price you hear is the price you pay, even if the clog takes longer than expected. You approve verbally or on the work order, then we go. 2 to 5 minutes.

  4. Step 4

    Clear The Line

Cable runs through the cleanout or fixture access, breaks through the clog, and pulls debris back. Jet runs high-pressure water at 3,500+ PSI to scour the pipe wall completely clean. 30 to 90 minutes depending on the line and the method. You'll hear the equipment running and the water moving. Stay out of the room we're working in (kitchen, bathroom, laundry) so the tech has space and the floor stays dry. Other rooms in the house are fine.

  5. Step 5

    Camera And Sign-Off

On mainline jobs we run a camera back through the cleared line and you watch the footage on the screen with the tech. If the line is clean, you sign off and we're done. If we see a structural issue (cracked clay, root invasion through a joint, a sag holding water), we pause, show you the exact spot, and quote next steps. Cleanup happens before we leave. Tarps come up, floor wiped, tools loaded. Total visit usually 1 to 2 hours start to finish.

FAQs

About Clogged Drains

  • Don't. Liquid drain chemicals corrode pipes (especially older copper and cast iron in SFV homes), rarely clear real clogs, and make our job harder because we have to deal with caustic fluid splashing back. Skip the bottle. Call a plumber.

  • Three usual suspects: (1) grease buildup over years, (2) root intrusion from trees outside the home, or (3) a sag, crack, or scale issue in the line. Camera inspection tells you which. If it's #2 or #3, cleaning is a band-aid, you need spot repair or hydrojet maintenance.

  • If the same drain we cleared clogs again within 30 days, we come back and re-clear it at no charge. Doesn't apply if a new tree root grows in or if there's a structural issue we already flagged on camera.

  • Yes. Monthly or quarterly hydrojet schedules for restaurants, cafeterias, and multi-unit buildings. Way cheaper than emergency calls and you don't lose service hours.

  • We camera mainline jobs as part of the work, that's how we verify it's actually clear. Smaller branch lines (single sink, single tub) typically don't need a camera unless the clog keeps coming back.
